Founded in 1982, St James Securities is an owner managed commercial property development company based in Leeds. Over the years we have established an enviable reputation for delivering ambitious developments, on time and to budget, enabling us to develop strong relationships with occupiers, landowners, local authorities and consultants alike. 

Following a management buy out in 2013, we have delivered a number of very successful schemes including M&S Harrogate, Morrisons Ilkeston, St James Retail Park, Sheffield and since 2017 have been instrumental in bringing forward Derby’s £200m Becketwell mixed use regeneration.

We have developed considerable expertise across all asset classes and have well established good working relationships with many of the major Local Authorities, occupiers and funds as a result.

Our work has been recognised both nationally and internationally including the RICS International Project of the Year award for The Round Foundry, in Leeds and numerous awards for Becketwell, Derby.
