Final Retailer Secured for New Sheffield Scheme
A new national retailer has been secured for the £35m St James Retail Park in South Sheffield with the development now fully pre-let ahead of its planned opening later this year.
St James Securities and NFU Mutual have exchanged contracts with Superdrug, which will be located adjacent to Next and Mountain Warehouse at the 146,000 sq ft scheme.
St James Securities is on track to complete the Norton scheme in April ready to handover to the tenants to fit out. In total the scheme will create 250 full time jobs together with 124 jobs during construction.
Lead letting agent WSB Property Consultants, together with Dovestone Land, has previously exchanged contracts with Next, M&S Foodhall, Aldi, TK Maxx, Homesense, Wilkos, Pets at Home, Mountain Warehouse, Shoezone, Card Factory, Specsavers Greggs and Costa.
Paul Morris, director of St James Securities, said: “We are delighted to welcome Superdrug to the Park, as they are a trusted and accomplished retailer and a perfect fit with the retailers who have already signed up which will further enhance the shopping experience to customers who visit the scheme.”
Adam Mobley, partner of WSB Property Consultants, added: “The scheme is now 100 per cent pre-let, the scheme has been extremely well received in the retail market.”
WSB Property Consultants and joint agents Dovestone Land advised St James Securities and NFU Mutal. Mason Partners represented Superdrug.
