Completed in 2003, St James Securities acted as Development Manager on The Light in Leeds for HBOS. This is a flagship mixed-use leisure scheme of 30,000 m² anchored by a 13 screen Vue Cinema. In addition the scheme originally included a Radisson SAS hotel, Esporta Health Club, various nightclubs, restaurants and shops including The Body Shop, United Colours of Bennetton, Henri Lloyd and O’Neill all above three levels of secure car parking.

The scheme combines the very best new build with the refurbishment of listed buildings around a covered central courtyard. Extensions to the adjoining St Anne’s Cathedral complement the balance of traditional and modern elements.
